For the second iteration of our Summer School we are expanding the programme, making it more available and even more valuable an experience. The Summer School is organised by the Royal Fine Art Commission Trust in association with Drawing Matter, Hauser & Wirth Somerset, Kingston School of Art, Queens University Belfast, Reading University and Bruton School for Girls. Expert tuition will be led by Andrew Clancy, Professor of Architecture at Kingston, with a team of tutors and experts from each of the universities. If you would like to nominate a pupil from your school, please email by 5pm on 08 May 2018.

Proportion, distortion, geometry, distance, power, the infinite, the divine – perspective traverses truth and illusion, linking the disciplines of art, architecture and mathematics. For this new exhibition, sponsored by Arper and Colt, the RIBA has commissioned Sam Jacob Studio to explore how perspective drawing has been applied to the art of building for centuries and used as a tool to evoke illusory architectural spaces.
