OFF LOCATION: DRAWINGS FOR THE US EMBASSY MOSCOW

INVITATION TO PRIVATE VIEW

Carlos Diniz, Embassy of the United States, Moscow, 1976, DM 2967.6

To mark the opening of the new US embassy in London this month, Pushkin House and Drawing Matter will be exhibiting a selection of the drawings prepared in the 1970s by Carlos Diniz and SOM, for the US Embassy in Moscow. The exhibition has been curated by Tim Abrahams and will be accompanied by a publication in which he tells the story of an ambitious, ultimately disastrous, embassy relocation project during the Cold War. We would be delighted if you would join us at Pushkin House, 5A Bloomsbury Square, London WC1A 2TA for the opening event, 6.30 - 8.30 pm February 12th. The exhibition will run until February 28th, the publication will be available for free to visitors to the exhibition and for sale on the Drawing Matter website.
