The drawings are something between a sketch, a photograph, a model and a plan – similar perhaps to the old maps of cities and territories, which show the relationship between things without any intention of being realistic. They are more like a mind map.

The exhibition 20 January, in 8.44 / out 8.16  at Princeton University School of Architecture, is curated by Elizabeth Diller and Tina di Carlo. Designed by Diller Scofidio + Renfro, the specially designed cabinets display nearly 200 architectural drawings from the Drawing Matter Collection. Open until 08 May.
